Checking for show updates
Pre-built shows on the Audiohost Show Server can be updated — a fix to a cue event, a corrected mic mapping, an audio replacement. You check for them on demand.
How to check
- Open Manage Shows.
- Tap the show name.
- Tap Check for Updates....
ShowPlayer tells you whether a new version is available. If there is, you can pull it down. If not, you'll see a "Show is up to date" message and you're done.
The check tells you whether there's a new version, not what changed in it.
Notes
- When to check. Before tech is a good time. Avoid doing it right before a performance unless you know an update is waiting.
- Internet required for the check. The update check needs the same network connection as the initial load. Once you've applied an update, the show works offline again like before.
